Upon arrival of the Akasa Air flight, airport authorities carried out a complete inspection of the plane and its passengers. Though the state of affairs raised considerations, it was managed successfully, with passengers remaining secure and cooperative through the checks, the company reported.

Airport Director Vinod Kumar confirmed that every one security inspections had been accomplished with none findings of concern. He said, “There was a bomb threat call concerning the Akasa flight from Bengaluru to Ayodhya. The checks have been conducted successfully, and it appears the call was a hoax. There were 173 passengers on board.”

Kumar elaborated that the alert got here in round 1:30 PM, prompting the speedy touchdown of the flight. He assured that each the passengers and their baggage had been totally examined and {that a} related hoax name had been obtained earlier within the week.

“Around 1:30, we received information about a bomb being planted on the flight, prompting an immediate landing. The passengers, their luggage, and the aircraft were thoroughly checked, but nothing suspicious was found. We received a similar hoax call on Wednesday as well. All passengers are safe now,” Kumar said.

As investigations proceed, airport officers emphasised that they’re taking all essential precautions to take care of security on the airport.
