The pact was formalised by PAU’s extra director analysis (agriculture), GS Mangat, and Shivank Raj Bhati from Kain Agrotech, representing their respective organisations.

Developed by VP Sethi, head of the division of mechanical engineering at PAU, the expertise is hailed as the primary indigenous answer for soilless farming.

Sethi defined that the innovation combines two distinct hydroponic programs to reinforce nutrient availability and oxygen provide.

A key characteristic of the system is a perforated plate on the root base, which accelerates plant progress by optimising nutrient absorption and enhancing oxygenation.

The expertise’s compact root system permits nearer plant spacing, maximising land utilisation and boosting yield potential.

Sethi highlighted its effectivity in conserving water and vitamins, decreasing wastage because of leaching, runoff, and evaporation—crucial features given the challenges of declining water tables and rising soil toxicity.

The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of a number of dignitaries, together with Mahesh Kumar, extra director of analysis (agricultural engineering); Khushdeep Dharni, affiliate director of PAU’s expertise advertising and marketing and IPR cell; and Vijit Bhatara.

Dharni reaffirmed PAU’s dedication to transferring cutting-edge agricultural applied sciences to business, benefiting all stakeholders.

In the meantime, Bhati expressed Kain Agrotech’s enthusiasm in leveraging this expertise to discover new alternatives in floriculture, increasing its potential purposes available in the market.
