MUMBAI: The Mumbai unit of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) booked a Central Items and Providers Taxes (CGST) officer on Friday for allegedly amassing disproportionate belongings (DA) value round ₹78.63 lakh. The CBI’s anti-corruption department booked the accused official, H Kumar, superintendent, CGST (Bhiwandi Commissionerate) on receipt of a grievance from considered one of its further superintendents of police, based mostly on which an FIR was registered.
