A personal faculty in Noida obtained a bomb risk mail on Friday morning and search is underway on the premises, police stated.

“The school was evacuated, and a search is underway. The school administration came to know about the mail after their staff reached school in the morning and checked the mail,” added ADCP Shukla.

On Wednesday morning, 4 personal faculties in Noida obtained a bomb risk mail with police, later, calling it a hoax.

“On Wednesday morning we received information on the emergency helpline number that four schools—Step by Step, The Heritage, Gyanshree, and Mayoor School—received bomb threat mails,” stated Noida ADCP Shukla.

“On getting information, a team of police comprising firefighters, bomb detection team, and dog squad checked the premises and found the mail to be a hoax”, Shukla stated.

Apart from Mayoor College, courses in all three faculties are working easily, stated ADCP Shukla, including that the varsity administration got here to know in regards to the risk mail when their workers reached faculty on Wednesday morning and checked the mail.

By late Wednesday night time, police apprehended a 14-year-old boy, a category 9 pupil of one of many 4 faculties, and stated it was he who allegedly despatched the mails as he needed to skip faculty.

Noida deputy commissioner of police (DCP), Ram Badan Singh stated on Thursday that some of these mail triggered panic within the faculty, dad and mom, and police administration.
