The Noida Worldwide Airport Restricted (NIAL), the company tasked with overseeing the development of the greenfield airport in Jewar, on Friday stated the Noida worldwide airport has signed an settlement with the Uttarakhand Transport Company to run bus providers from the airport to necessary cities within the hill state,to supply a clean commute to passengers.

The service will begin when the airport commences business operations, linking Noida airport to main cities reminiscent of Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani, stated NIAL officers.
“This is a crucial agreement because the bus service will offer smooth travel from Noida airport to key cities in Uttarakhand. As we plan to commence the commercial operations in April, starting the bus service is also a priority for us,” stated Arun Vir Singh, chief government officer, NIAL.

“As per the agreement, we will provide AC bus between the airport and key cities of Uttarakhand and this association will integrate air and road transport, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for passengers. The airport management will facilitate parking of our buses so that we can provide the hassle-free services to the passengers,” stated Reena Joshi, managing director, Uttarakhand Transport Company.
Uttarakhand cities reminiscent of Haridwar, Roorkee, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Musoorie amongst others are within the catchment space of Noida airport, prompting the federal government to rearrange highway service for travellers, stated officers.

NIA officers maintained that seamless connectivity stays a high precedence because the airport evolves into a serious regional hub. Earlier, Noida airport concessionaire had partnered with Mahindra Logistics to introduce an all-electric taxi service.
