Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai has declared Hindi movie ‘Chhava’, based mostly on Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, tax-free within the state, the federal government mentioned on Thursday.

“Chhava is not just a film, but also a tribute to our historical traditions, courage, and self-respect. Every citizen should watch it to understand the legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj,” the CM mentioned.

The movie portrays the extraordinary braveness, sacrifice, and strategic brilliance of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who fought fiercely in opposition to the Mughals and different invaders. It vividly brings to life his indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to the nation, reinforcing a deep sense of nationalism, the federal government mentioned.

“With the tax exemption, cinema enthusiasts across the state will benefit from reduced ticket prices, ensuring a wider audience can watch and draw inspiration from this historic masterpiece,” the CM mentioned.

Sai claimed that his authorities is dedicated to selling movies that encourage society and protect cultural consciousness, and burdened that Chhattisgarh will proceed supporting historic, cultural, and patriotic movies to make sure that future generations stay related to India’s wonderful previous.
