The Karnataka BJP has strongly criticized the Congress-led state authorities, calling the newly introduced Price range a “Halal Budget” and alleging that it prioritizes appeasement politics.

Taking to X, the BJP wrote, “Karnataka presents a Halal Budget—appeasement at its peak!” The celebration highlighted provisions particularly benefiting the Muslim group and questioned the shortage of comparable allocations for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Different Backward Courses (OBCs).
“What about SCs, STs, and OBCs? Absolutely nothing!” the BJP posted, accusing the Congress authorities of sidelining different communities whereas focusing solely on minority welfare.
