Tejasvi Khatri, a Mohali IT employee who too was caught within the chaos, stated, “This road is not new to traffic jams but it is worse today. I’m stuck here for more than 15 minutes and still not able to cross the road. VIP movement always causes trouble.”

One other commuter from Chandigarh, Vishal Sharma, was heading again to his residence when he bought caught in a visitors jam. He stated, “There were no clear signs about which roads were closed. I kept moving in the morning too but every route was blocked.”

Manasvi, an IT worker, shared, “I left my office early to avoid rush but I’ve been stuck here for so long. The traffic is not moving and the diversions have made it worse.”

In Chandigarh, the visitors police issued an advisory, mentioning key routes that might be regulated through the occasion. Site visitors congestion was famous on Madhya Marg with commuters on account of diversions. Site visitors police had been deployed at main intersections to handle the move. Residents and commuters are suggested to plan their routes accordingly and go for alternate roads to keep away from inconvenience on March 12, the advisory acknowledged.
