A tragic accident in Bengaluru’s Byappanahalli claimed the lives of two pedestrians, together with a pregnant girl, after an electrical pole fell on them when it was struck by an earthmoving car.

The incident occurred when the car, engaged in building work, by accident rammed into the pole, inflicting it to break down.

The victims have been recognized as Sumathi, a resident of Tamil Nadu, and Soni Kumari from Bihar, who was 4 months pregnant. The tragedy unfolded when a JCB machine by accident hit a light-weight pole, inflicting it to fall on the 2 ladies as they have been strolling alongside the roadside, in line with a report by Instances Now.

In response to the report, upon witnessing the tragic incident, native residents promptly alerted the police. Authorities arrived on the scene and detained the JCB driver, recognized as Raju.
