MUMBAI: Despite the fact that the complete stretch of Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Expressway, connecting Mumbai and Nagpur, is but to open, the Maharashtra State Highway Improvement Company (MSRDC) will begin accumulating extra toll from April 1.

As per the revised per km toll chart, ₹2.06 can be levied on mild motor autos, ₹3.32 on mild motor industrial autos, ₹6.97 on heavy autos having 2 axles, ₹7.60 on heavy autos with 3 axles, ₹10.93 on heavy building equipment, and ₹13.30 on outsized autos having 7 or extra axles.

“A public notice has been issued on the scheduled hike in toll rates,” an MSRDC official mentioned. When requested concerning the opening date of the steadiness 76 km of the expressway in direction of Mumbai, the official shared that the part is prepared and can be opened quickly.
