In an initiative to advertise the science of happiness, Indian Institute of Know-how (IIT) Delhi has inaugurated the Rekhi Thoughts Lab in collaboration with the Rekhi Basis for Happiness.

IIT Delhi stated this facility might be a state-of-the-art house devoted to the analysis and growth of pedagogical instruments to advertise happiness and well-being as a talent throughout the tutorial curriculum.
Institute director Prof. Rangan Banerjee and Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi, founding father of the Rekhi Basis for Happiness, had been current on the occasion, which passed off on March 20, Worldwide Happiness Day.
The institute stated over 500 college students and college members from IITD and numerous faculties of Delhi College participated within the occasion.

Prof Banerjee stated IIT Delhi is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and analysis. “Rekhi Mind Lab aligns perfectly with our mission to address real-world challenges through interdisciplinary approaches. This initiative will not only benefit students at IIT Delhi but also serve as a model for educational institutions across the country.”
“All human beings share the common goal of living happy, meaningful lives, yet we face a stressful and complex world that tests our emotional limits. Rekhi Foundation’s aim is to spread happiness…starting in 2016, at IIT Kharagpur, now Rekhi Happiness Centres have presence in over 60 institutions spread over 6 countries,” Dr. Rekhi stated.
“The initiative has been successful in promoting happiness through scientific methods, offering university courses, establishing mind labs, and organizing community events and workshops.”
He additional added that the muse goals to deepen our understanding of happiness and well-being by combining analysis and training.

Prof. Jyoti Kumar, Head of the Division of Design at IIT Delhi and Rekhi Thoughts lab stated, ” Mind Lab activities will be a platform for scientifically driven transformative approaches in higher education rooted in the science of happiness”.
Principal Project Scientist Dr Pooja Sahni said they are developing evidence-based interventions that can be integrated into classrooms so that both teachers and students can benefit from a focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
“Our aim is to create instruments and methodologies which can be sensible, scalable, and impactful,” Sahni added.
