The plea stated the petitioners have been aggrieved by the “abrupt and arbitrary policy reversal” relating to the eligibility standards for JEE-Superior 2025 by the JAB, which initially elevated the permissible makes an attempt from two to 3 on November 5, 2024, solely to rescind it on November 18 final yr.
“The restriction/limit on number of attempts to only two is inadequate, excessive and against the interest of the thousands of IIT aspirants including the petitioners,” it stated.
The petitioners argued the “revised” eligibility standards solely permitted candidates who had handed Class 12 in 2024 and 2025 to look within the JEE-Superior 2025.
