Violation of provisions pertaining to deduction of Career Tax from the staff’ wage below the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings & Employments Act, 1975, has been alleged towards the corporate, it mentioned in a regulatory submitting.
“The Company believes that it has strong arguments against the Order and is taking necessary steps to protect its interest through review/appeal,” Swiggy acknowledged within the submitting on Saturday.
The corporate believes that the order has no main adversarial impression on its financials and operations.
