Not less than 30 armed accused had been booked for allegedly robbing ₹1 lakh and jewelry from a home in Gurbachan Colony in Lohara, officers stated.

They added that the accused vandalised the home and threatened the members of the family within the incident that occurred late on Sunday.
Police stated the accused later focused a dairy owned by the identical household and killed not less than seven hens and a calf. The assailants attacked their pet canine as properly, which sustained a fracture on the leg, the officers added.
In accordance with the household, the accused barged into the home to extort cash from them.
The Daba police registered a first-information report (FIR) towards the accused, recognized as Mani Sekhon, Babu, Ashu Lohara, Angrej, Ajay, Shantu, Sabi, Harman Mohri, Parul, Raj and Rajan. Police stated the identities of the opposite accused had been but to be ascertained.
The FIR was registered following a press release by Gurmeet Kaur.
Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Jarnail Singh, who’s investigating the case, stated the FIR was registered below sections 332(C) (house-trespass to commit an offence), 305 (theft in a dwelling home), 191(3) (rioting with a lethal weapon), 190 (member of an illegal meeting), 324(4) (committing mischief) and 351(2) (legal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
He added {that a} hunt is on to arrest the accused.
