The Yerawada Police have sealed a distinguished pub positioned close to Cerebrum IT Park in Kalyaninagar, citing a number of violations underneath Part 142(2) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. Police knowledgeable that, at round 1 am, a bunch of individuals arrived on the pub and indulged in a heated argument with lodge workers after being denied companies.
Angered with that, members of the group later allegedly had been concerned within the vandalisation of the property and altercation with the staffers. Later, the son of a sitting MLA from Pimpri-Chinchwad reportedly reached the spot in an try to mediate.
Ravindra Shelke, senior police inspector at Yerwada police station, stated, “ There have been no official complaints from both facet. Taking cognisance, we now have sealed the pub underneath part 142(2) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949.’’
