Kanpur: What started as a honeymoon in Kashmir became a second of unimaginable terror for a newly married couple from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, when a gunman shot 30-year-old Shubham Dwivedi within the head after twice asking him, “Are you Hindu or Muslim?”

His spouse, Ashanya Dwivedi, had married Shubham simply two months in the past, on February 12.
