A 16-year-old woman was rescued by the Vanrai police on Saturday after being allegedly kidnapped by a 17-year-old boy who she met by means of a gaming app three months in the past. He has been booked beneath sections of the Safety of Kids in opposition to Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The police mentioned that the woman, a resident of Goregaon whose mom was a home assist and father labored at a personal firm, met and started chatting with the boy by means of a gaming app. She was then lured by the boy and known as to Varanasi per week in the past, mentioned police. He then allegedly confined her in his home.
Raju Mane, senior police inspector of Vanrai police station, mentioned that after her dad and mom reported her lacking, the police registered a kidnapping criticism and started tracing her cell phone’s location. The dad and mom had instructed the police that the woman was energetic on social media and some gaming websites, Mane added.
