A pair, together with two accomplices, has been arrested by the Moti Nagar police for committing a number of snatching incidents to fund their drug dependancy. They focused commuters and bought stolen cell phones and different valuables, the police mentioned.

One of many accused brandished a pointy weapon and threatened Khan earlier than snatching his telephone.
An FIR was registered. Throughout the investigation, the police arrested the accused who reportedly confessed their involvement within the crimes. “Mamta Devi played a key role in selling the stolen mobile phones. The proceeds were used to buy drugs for the gang,” mentioned the ASI.
