BETTIAH: A headmaster of a authorities college was killed and three academics had been among the many injured when an autorickshaw they had been travelling in collided head-on with an oil tanker close to Madhubani Ghat in East Champaran district on Wednesday, police stated.

Manish Kumar, station home officer (SHO), Mufassil police station stated the incident took close to Madhubani Ghat when 5 individuals together with the motive force and the academics of two authorities faculties had been on their option to Bhelwa within the district’s Madhuban block, about 35 km from district headquarters Motihari.
Kumar attributed the head-on collision to low visibility attributable to dense fog within the space.
Kumar stated the headmaster, Naresh Kumar, 55, died on the spot whereas three academics and the motive force had been admitted to the hospital after the head-on collision with the oil tanker.
The headmaster was posted at Rajkiya Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya at Bhelwa. The injured academics have been recognized by the police as Sushma Patel and Nahid Kamar of Rajkiya Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya and Anita Kumari, a trainer hooked up with the center college at Bhelwa.
Nahid Kamar, who sustained accidents within the accident, instructed HT on the telephone that the accident passed off at about 7:30am once they had been on their option to their respective faculties on the autorickshaw. “Suddenly, I was tossed out of the vehicle due to the impact of the collision and landed in a roadside ditch. When I opened my eyes, I saw the headmaster and two other teachers lying in a pool of blood,”
Police stated the motive force of the automobile has been arrested and the deceased’s physique has been handed over to the household after conducting a postmortem.
