Swargate police arrest man for cell theft at bus stand

Swargate Police arrested Pratik Vijay Mane, 24, for stealing cell phones on the bus stand, recovering six telephones value ₹1.5 lakh.

The Swargate Police on Monday arrested a person concerned within the theft of cell phones from the Swargate ST Bus Stand. The accused has been recognized as Pratik Vijay Mane 24, a resident of Manjari, initially hailing from Solapur district. The accused is an on-record felony and was earlier externed by the Hadapsar police for 2 years.

Throughout an investigation of a cell theft case reported at Swargate ST Bus Stand final week, police havaldar Sujay Pawar, Harshal Shinde and Feroz Sheikh obtained details about a suspicious man who was current on the Katraj PMPML Bus cease space. 

On Monday, a workforce of Swargate police rushed to the spot and arrested Mane. Throughout his search operation, police recovered three cell phones. Throughout additional investigation, it was revealed that the accused alongside together with his pal Karan Ghadge from Manjari used to focus on passengers from Swargate ST Bus Stand and used to promote these cell phones out there. Police stated they’ve recovered six cell phones value ₹1,50,000. 

In line with police, the person was concentrating on cell phones from unsuspecting commuters, profiting from crowded circumstances on the bus stand.
