Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar introduced on Wednesday that the state authorities is contemplating extending the Bengaluru Metro Rail community to Hoskote within the east, Nelamangala within the west, and Bidadi within the southwest.

Shivakumar was responding to a query from Sharath Bache Gowda within the Karnataka Meeting concerning the extreme visitors congestion on Previous Madras Highway, significantly between KR Puram and Hoskote, PTI reported.

Metro stations to be developed at ₹100 crore

The Embassy Workplace Park REIT is committing over ₹100 crore to boost Bengaluru’s metro infrastructure, in response to its CEO Aravind Maiya. In 2020, Embassy Group partnered with Bengaluru Metro Rail Company Restricted (BMRCL) to finance the Bettahalasur metro station, positioned between Bagalur Cross and Trumpet Junction, with an estimated value of ₹140 crore. Nevertheless, the standing of this station, which was meant to boost entry to the Embassy Boulevard advanced, stays unsure.
