The principal of a non-public faculty in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district was accused of ordering 80 women of sophistication 10 to take away their shirts for writing messages on them, prompting the administration to provoke an inquiry, an official stated on Saturday.

The incident passed off in a prestigious faculty in Digwadih beneath Jorapokhar police station space on Friday, Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Madhvi Mishra stated.

The dad and mom complained to the DC that class 10 college students, after finishing their examination, have been celebrating ‘pen day’ by writing messages on every others’ shirts.

The principal objected to the celebration and requested the scholars to take away their shirts, though they sought an apology. All college students have been despatched again house of their blazers with out the shirts, the dad and mom informed the DC.

Jharia MLA Ragini Singh also accompanied the parents to the DC’s office on Saturday when they lodged the complaints against the principal.

Singh described the incident as “shameful and unlucky”.
