Faridabad, Faridabad police on Tuesday arrested 12 individuals, together with 10 ladies, in bank card fraud, officers mentioned.

The accused have been operating a faux name centre in Delhi’s Janakpuri West space and duped individuals. Fifteen cell phones and 12 units have been recovered from their possession, they added.

These arrested have been recognized as Abdul Wahid, Sakshi Negi, Dipika, Babita, Samra, Priya Mehra, Komal, Jyoti Bharti, Amisa, Sonam Kaur, residents of Delhi, and Parmeet Kaur and Chanchal, residents of Bihar, the police mentioned.
“Throughout interrogation, it was revealed that the mastermind of the faux name middle is Khushal alias Raunak, a resident of Bihar’s Purnia, who’s absconding,” a police spokesperson mentioned.
Khushal had rented a flat in Janakpuri the place this faux name middle was being run since March 2024. He used to present wage and incentives starting from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per thirty days to all of the accused, the spokesperson mentioned.
“We have taken Abdul Wahid and Chanchal on five days of police remand while others were sent into judicial custody,” the spokesperson added.
