A 28-year-old vacationer from Andhra Pradesh was killed in Goa allegedly after an altercation with a shack proprietor and his employees over a meals order round 1 am on Tuesday, police mentioned.
That is the third loss of life of a vacationer over the previous couple of days in Goa. (PTI)
Police mentioned that the deceased has been recognized as Bhola Ravi Teja and so they have arrested 4 individuals — the shack proprietor Agnel Silveira, 64, his son Shubert Silveria, 23, and two employees of the shack Anil Bista, 24 and Samal Sunar, 23, each natives of Nepal.
“At around 1 am, a dispute regarding placing a food order escalated into violence at the Marina Shack, Calangute Beach. The accused allegedly assaulted Teja with wooden sticks and physical blows, resulting in a head injury. Teja succumbed to his injuries,” North Goa superintendent of police (SP) Akshat Kaushal mentioned.
The altercation started after the shack allegedly refused to take further orders citing that it was previous their closing time. This escalated after the vacationer group started questioning the invoice for the dishes that they had ordered earlier and refused to pay it, resulting in violence and assault of the vacationer.
That is the third loss of life of a vacationer over the previous couple of days within the state.
Earlier a 26-year-old Delhi resident died after falling unconscious whereas partying on the Sunburn Digital Dance Music Pageant on November 28. On the Christmas Day, a vacationer from Maharashtra died after a vacationer boat capsized. Over 20 individuals, together with youngsters, have been rescued within the incident.
